The Date Difference Calculator measures the precise number of years, months, weeks, and days between two specific dates, or adds/subtracts offsets from a target date.
Calculates total days, weeks, and months between two dates using actual calendar month boundaries.
Excludes weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) to show active workdays.
Applies positive or negative offset values (years, months, weeks, days) to a starting date to find the target date.
The outputs break down the range in multiple ways: total days, weeks/days, months/days, and business days vs. weekend days.
The calculation uses the standard Gregorian calendar and does not account for time zones or specific regional public holidays unless custom inputs are defined.
By default, the end date is excluded. If you want to include both the start and end dates as active days (e.g., for a vacation or contract span), check the "Include end date" box.
The calculator dynamically accounts for leap years (including February 29th) based on the specific years spanned.
A business day is defined as any weekday (Monday through Friday). Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are excluded.
